Procedure for determining the thermoelastic state of a reinforced concrete bridge beam strengthened with methyl methacrylate

This paper reports the analysis of methods for determining temperature stresses and deformations in bridge structures under influence climatic changes environment. A one-dimensional model has been applied to determine field thermoelastic state order practically estimate fields strengthened beams taking into consideration The distribution determined vertical direction a reinforced concrete beam depending on thickness structural reinforcement with methyl methacrylate. It was established that there is change gradient contact between reinforcement. defined, methacrylate value its elasticity module. does not have significant impact increasing while module leads an increase stresses. difference derived stress values 10 mm 20 mm, at E=15,000 MPa, up 3 % positive negative temperatures. found nature across height surface exposed ambient temperatures increases by three times. affected reinforcement, as well physical mechanical parameters investigated materials
